YouTube issues a statement warning users about apps that remove ads.

The YouTube team issued a warning to the community by publishing a statement on the support page, addressing the issue of third-party apps that remove ads. There are apps that allow users to watch the platform's content without ads, even if they don't have a premium subscription. The company warned that these programs could cause buffering or inbox issues, preventing users from viewing the content.
The terms and conditions don't allow apps from other accounts to disable ads. This is because the platform's creators and the people who use the streaming service need to be compensated, and that happens through ads.
The goal of these measures is to promote the YouTube Premium service, which eliminates commercials and offers other benefits. This service is priced at $139 MXN per month. People who install browser extensions will encounter a banner limiting the number of videos they can watch on the platform. Additionally, these ad blockers can cause slower loading times and cause computers to overheat.
