ChatGPT adds a new memory feature where you can remember what the user asks you

ChatGPT now has a new memory feature. The news was shared via OpenAI's X account. This feature will remember what you ask it and record all conversations to learn more about the user. Using the memory feature is very simple; just start a new chat and tell ChatGPT everything you want it to remember.
The feature is optional and can therefore be disabled from the settings menu. For ChatGPT members, the memory feature is enabled by default. This new feature is located in the "Personalization" section of the settings menu. Once enabled, you can access a list of memories stored by the chatbot.
User privacy has been questioned regarding this ChatGPT add-on. To avoid issues, OpenAI will prevent sensitive information from being remembered. The team responsible for user security and privacy has taken steps to assess and mitigate biases to prevent ChatGPT from proactively remembering sensitive information.
