China captures the far side of the moon
China becomes the first country to collect lunar samples from the far side of the moon. The Chang'e 6 mission began its mission two months ago to collect samples from the far side of the moon for the first time in history. President Xi Jinping explained that China seeks to become a special and technological power. Han Kejian, director of ANEC, stated that "The Chang'e 6 lunar mission has concluded successfully."

The Chinese president stated that "Over the past twenty years, all those involved in the lunar exploration project have scaled the summits of science and technology, achieving remarkable advances that have captured global attention." China has decided to allocate the next two Chang'e missions to the discovery and investigation of the moon's south pole.

The Chang'e 7 mission is planned to reach the lunar south pole in 2026, searching for water ice deposits. The Chang'e 8 mission is planned to explore the lunar south pole in 2028.  the potential uses of the resources discovered in the preliminary investigation. This will lay the groundwork for manned exploration, part of a Chinese space program planned for around 2030.
