Did OpenAI co-founder Ilya Sutskever spearhead the firing of Sam Altman?

The dismissal of Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, has been a hot topic in recent days. After more than 80% of the company's employees protested the decision, Altman was reinstated. No explanation has yet been given for the CEO's dismissal, but there is speculation.
According to several sources, Ilya Sutskever, co-founder of Open AI, is the person behind Sam Altman's sudden departure. In 2015, he helped found the company alongside the CEO and other influential collaborators. Throughout his career, he has been one of the pioneers in the resurgence of deep learning, an AI researcher, and is currently the chief scientist at OpenAI.
Axios reports revealed that veteran AI researcher Sutskever led the board to fire Sam Altman. The reason behind the sudden decision stemmed from a culture clash over the speed of AI development. Within days of Altman's departure and employee protests on the X platform, the co-founder expressed deep regret for his role in the CEO's dismissal.
