An organized space, an organized life

Often, we don't get our rooms or offices organized. We're hectic, busy with homework and hobbies. Perhaps you've had family members or those in charge tell you to tidy up your room or workspace right away. And sometimes you find it annoying. However, it has everything to do with where you live, how you live, and how you think. So, here are the benefits of keeping your personal and work spaces organized.

Let's start with your bedroom. One of the problems brought on by the pandemic was that some people didn't have enough space in their homes to have both their bedroom and their workspace. So they rested and worked nonstop in the same room.

It's practically impossible for your brain to think of the place where you rest as the same place where you work. Unconsciously, these signals from your room, your bed, your space, make it a place where you relax, sleep, and even entertain yourself. Therefore, if you demand concentration and long hours of work, your mind will be completely scattered and confused about what to do. This is because the space is inconsistent with the activities that take place within it.

We know that sometimes it's very difficult to have two distinct spaces, so what we propose is to keep the space organized.

The state of your room is a reflection of your mental state. If it's disorganized, with everything scattered and even the bed unmade, it's likely that you're lazy and unproductive. So it's important to keep your room clean and tidy and get into the habit of making your bed every day.

I know this last bit can sometimes be difficult, especially due to lack of time. But if you try to organize yourself to get up a little earlier and have it laid out , that same organization will carry over into the rest of the day.

So when you walk into your clean and tidy room, not only will it project peace and joy, but if you have to work there, it won't be a distraction anymore. It will also improve your rest and mood.

The same applies to your desk, office, or workspace. Sometimes we have papers that are no longer useful, leftover scraps from pencil sharpeners and erasers, the odd food or drink stain, general trash, and what about a pile of files or books in no particular order?

It is also advisable to keep all the appliances you use clean and disinfected, as well as to throw away all the trash on your work table immediately after leaving.

The key to staying organized is to take the time to organize each of your papers. You can use Post-its, paper clips, and stickers to distinguish them. Separate them into folders by alphabetical name or color.

Decorating your workspace is also a source of inspiration. Some people have a photo of their pet, their best friends, their family, or their partner. Or they have a small mural of things they like. Or even a souvenir or memento from a trip they loved. This totally complements your productivity and efficiency at work, because whether you like it or not, this motivation allows you to self-actualize, visualize, and work harder for those things you constantly see and that inspire you.

The last recommendation we can give is to do the same organization on your computer. This will keep things organized and, of course, make it easier to find things. In addition to keeping your computer or the cloud organized, it's always a good idea to back up these files on a USB flash drive.

Sometimes accidents happen or things get accidentally erased, so it's always best to do so. Plus, there are tons of beautiful and fun USB designs to help you with this. Here are some models: https://winnerbe.com/search?type=product&q=USB

We hope these tips have been helpful and that you can implement them in your daily life so that your space inspires peace and tranquility, making you more productive.
